The Academy for the Environment, established in 2004, is an interdisciplinary institute at the University of Nevada, Reno, whose mission is to develop, enhance and coordinate environmental teaching, research and service at the University.

Interdisciplinary Modeling: Water-Related Issues Summer 2008 - Interdisciplinary Modeling: Water-Related Issues

In this course, students will discuss the philosophy of modeling, become aware of models in different disciplines used to address water issues, work in interdisciplinary teams to explore issues and approaches in interdisciplinary modeling, and complete in interdisciplinary modeling project that addresses on or more water related issues. The Environmental Action Team, or EnAcT, is an ASUN club sponsored by the Academy for the Environment.  EnAcT’s mission is to help promote student action toward sustainability on the UNR campus and beyond.  Meetings are held every Tuesday afternoon, from 4-5 p.m.  Learn more: locations, topics, and other information
