Program description: Philosophy began as a form of applied ethics and has evolved rapidly into a comprehensive philosophical discussion of thought and action regarding the environment. The investigation now spans all areas of philosophy: ethics and value theory, including aesthetics; social and political philosophy, including policy issues; metaphysics; epistemology; and even bio-logic.
